Wolves, YAY!!!

Friday 25 June, we went looking for Wolves Cafe and could'nt find it. I was terribly disappointed as we were moving to the Western Cape and I didn't know when I would get the chance to go there again. I checked on Wolves site again, posted a comment and got a reply from Angie(lucky pony) with the directions. We went back to Johannesburg for the last time on Friday 2 July and we found it!!!Yippee:-))

I really-really wanted a moustache in my hot chocolate with a slice of red velvet cake, yum!  The shop is sooo pretty and "homey". I love every little detail, the Wolves mugs and mixed antique plates and spoons... I love it, love it, love it!

We were greeted by friendly staff and I almost fell off my pretty chair when our waiter placed a Tree-level-red-velvet-cake on the table in front of me. It was delish! And although it was way too much for my tummy, I ate everything right down to the last crumb.

I first came to know of Wolves when I stumbled across Lucky Pony where I saw HelloFox, so it was quite obvious that I left Wolves with my own Fox... Happy as a Foxy:-P

China Mart

China Mart is the new "buzz-word" in Gauteng. During the past 6 months I've heard China Mart mentioned by several people. I heard it was situated somewhere in Johannesburg but no-one cared to share the directions. As I was living in Pretoria at the time and didn't get to Jhb much I soon forgot about this cool place everyone was talking about. Until one day my Aunt, Charmaine, asked if I would like to go with her to China Mart. She had to get specific goods from there and thought that I would enjoy going along. So we made a date and by 25June we were a group of six from Pta on our way to China Mart.

I found this pretty Owl ring and it only cost me R20....

These yummy strawberries have two types of strawberry lip gloss inside...mmmmm. the lady I bought them from was talking to her cat the whole time I was in her shop. The cat sat on the counter and bowed his head towards me for head scratch. On the other side of the counter was an aquarium filled with fish. What a cute experience. The delicious ribbons were from a less friendly shop, but they're still pretty. After our shopping, we went to the "food court". We sat down at the first restaurant that we past(yip, we were starving), and had a traditional Chinese lunch. Chicken chopsuey with sweet&sour sauce and a fortune cookie to end the day with.....good eat'n!

New Look:-)

This look is a lot more comfy than the previous one. I quite like the calm feeling I got when I changed into this one. I think, though, I would like to design my own background(if time allows). Who knows, maybe I'll still get to it this weekend...

It's been a while

Hi There
I have been having a lot of internet problems in the past month or two but hopefully all that is sorted out now. I've been to some interesting places and seen some pretty thing during the time which has past. I will thus try to put "quick-update" blog posts on to catch up to August.
I'm still not feeling that my blog fits me quite as comfortably as it should, I'll have to try on a few more  skins to get that perfect fit. So please bare with me through this stage of self-exploring till I find the OddOneOut that suits me.
